1945 Bamford EG4
Engine No. AH 56373 was originally Sold New on 17th December 1945 to McHattie & Co Ltd, seedsmen and nurserymen of Chester
In 2002 it was bought at auction at the Driffield rally by Mike Milestone of Willerby.
It was Nicely restored by mike in 2007
Then sold mid 2009 to Steve, In Holme Upon Spalding Moor where it was dry stored until 16.08. 2011 When It bought by myself
After moving to Scarborough, it has been Retimed and a new slightly larger needle valve fitted and now runs very well
I now have an original Exhaust for it. Steel,Wood & a nice set of cast Iron wheels to build a steerable trolley... As It Is Very Heavy!
When moved onto it's New trolley It will have new gaskets fitted on the body pivot split to eliminate a small oil leak
Also a silver Jubilee Decal reinstated on it...... It is a lovely, albeit Big Numb Engine.
